I'll answer personally as I really don't feel My idea's are what others feel...
I'm a Dominant, I prefer to be in a Top's position always, I like to hold the responsibility for those I play with and tend to. I like to direct My play time/scenes, I feel most comfortable in taking the lead and holding the control of the submissive/bottom I'm involved with... does this mean I feel it 24/7...in idea yes, but even I need a break.. I tend to burn out or TOP drop if I'm all Domme and not chance to relax and just be Emmy....

Submission of course to Me is one exchanging the power with Me to share, explore, teach, mentor and guide that one on a journey into exploration beyond their wildest dreams/fantasies and desires. I'm interested in how Eeveryone defines "power EXCHANGE"........y'see over here, not that Mmany are ever interested, it's more defined as "energy exchange", there's still power, and yes one gives over control but only to a certain extent........they're always awre of what's going on therefore retain an element of control until a defining moment......subspace or zoning or whatever Oone wishes to call it. Then in that moment there is no 'control' and the 'power' truly lies in the hands of the Dominant.
Does that make sense to Aanyone ? Thoughts, as I'm interested.....?

i tend to agree. The thing about submission... it can be fairly easily given online. i mean, let's be honest... you can be as truthful or "near-truthful" as you wish, and no one will be the wiser. Indeed... ultimately, it doesn't much matter. However, the same rules don't hold true in RT... and true submission takes a good deal of time.

Vanilla people fall close to the middle- a good balance of dominant traits, and submissive traits. They are the ones who can most successfully be happy living on their own... they are complete within themselves. The farther you go to either of the ends, the more you need your counterpart on the other end to be "complete". Just my two cents
